Anti-Bias Education

  1. That was a great slideshow. I thought the page depicting varying types of families was excellent. This would definitely ensure that no child felt left out based on the type of family they had whether heterosexual, same-sex couple, extended family, or biological vs adoption. The picture with the children from different ethnicities was a good choice as it also showed a special needs child, ensuring again that no one feels left out.
It is also good that you pointed out that children should not only be able to identify biases and stereotypes but should also be empowered to take action where they see bias raising its head.

  2. I really liked your slide show. The pictures you chose to display diversity were great. I especially liked the photo that was exploring gender stereotypes.
